The civic body usually collects around ₹1,800 crore in property tax annually. Around ₹96 crore was collected through the special camps held between July 3 and July 15. 

The extended timeframe reflects the civic body’s ongoing initiative to enhance tax compliance while ensuring that residents find the payment process easier and more convenient.

Property owners who have outstanding dues are strongly encouraged to utilize this extended window and complete their payments before the revised deadline. Residents can visit their nearest GCC office during camp hours, where staff members are available to assist with calculations, clarifications, and payment processing.

In addition to in-person payments, the GCC continues to offer online payment options through its official website, providing flexibility for those who prefer digital transactions. However, the special camps remain a convenient alternative for those seeking direct assistance.
